Job summary

KION Group AG is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 in Beech Island, SC. The role focuses on day-to-day troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for material handling equipment, with a 7:00am–3:00pm, Monday–Friday shift. Overtime and some weekends may be required.

The position involves repairing MHE, completing maintenance routines, documenting work orders, and coordinating spare parts. Strong hands-on skills and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational-technical training preferred.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds; climb ladders safely.
• Able to work in varied conditions and cover multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Complete preventive maintenance routines and document procedures.
• Create and close work orders with data on labor, maintenance, and parts used.
• Troubleshoot basic conveyance problems and coordinate resolution.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Respond to semi-complex service calls to fix equipment faults.
• Develop positive working relationships across the organization.
