Job summary

KION Group AG is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 for our Beech Island, SC site. The role supports day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on Material Handling Equipment, with a 7:00am-3:00pm shift, Monday through Friday.

Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required. Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, with vocational-technical training preferred, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; vocational-technical training preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds; comfortable with physical work.
• Experience in preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking and lubrication.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and document procedures.
• Create and close work orders with labor hours and parts used.
• Troubleshoot conveyance problems and locate spare parts.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels.
