Dematic in Beech Island, SC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting and preventive/predictive maintenance on material handling equipment. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and a 7:00 am–3:00 pm Monday–Friday schedule with overtime and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational-technical training preferred.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with bending, lifting, and standing for long hours.
• Willing to cover multiple shifts and overtime as required.
• Ability to use an asset management system and document maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and documentation.
• Create and close work orders with labor hours and parts used.
• Troubleshoot conveyance problems and identify solutions.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Respond to semi-complex service calls and correct faults.
• Develop positive relationships across the organization.
