Battelle Memorial Institute in Ohio seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician for the West Jefferson campus. You will perform advanced diagnostic analysis using schematics and system knowledge, and work with engineers to meet project schedules.

You will train and guide junior staff, oversee tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement by sharing expertise in mechanical and electrical assembly, diagnostics, and problem solving within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical/mechanical assembly or related field.
• Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical diagnostic skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability and independent work style.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and schedule monitoring.
• US work authorization; sponsorship not available.

Responsabilités

• Conducts advanced diagnostic analysis of products using schematics, diagrams, and system knowledge.
• Works independently on special products and in conjunction with engineers to meet defined schedules.
• Provides oversight, guidance, and leadership to less experienced staff.
• Trains junior personnel to improve diagnostic, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly skills.
• Works with engineering to maintain and enhance systems.
• Provides input and suggestions to designers and engineers to support continuous improvement.
• Monitors schedules and conducts tasks to maintain schedule adherence.
• Recommend allocation of resources to meet project requirements.
