Job summary

Battelle in Columbus, OH is seeking an Electronics and Electrical System Design Engineer to design advanced electronic and electromechanical systems for government and industry customers. Onsite for 6–9 months, then hybrid depending on contracts.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited ECE degree or related field with relevant experience
• Self-motivated, analytical problem solver
• Proficient with MS Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• U.S. citizen; able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Generate block diagrams and concept designs for complex systems
• Create circuit board schematics and review PCB layouts
• Develop firmware for embedded microprocessors and perform tests
• Perform calculations and simulations to predict performance
• Document test plans and assist with fielded support
• Coordinate across disciplines to solve multifaceted problems
