Job summary

Nestlé USA in Illinois is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to maintain and optimize mechanical and electrical systems across the manufacturing facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, support production, train operators, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1+ year of maintenance experience, strong hydraulics/electrical skills, SAP/CMMS familiarity, and the ability to work on third shift (7:00 PM–5:00 AM).

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year minimum industrial maintenance experience; 3+ years journeyman preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems and electrical motor control.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup activities and review maintenance work orders daily.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automation, and control system issues.
• Execute preventive/predictive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Document work, labor time, and spares in CMMS/SAP and maintain records.
