Job summary

Nestlé is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee preventative and predictive maintenance for manufacturing equipment in a Denver area facility. You will handle electrical, mechanical, and automation maintenance, supporting plant operations and safety on off-shift schedules (2nd or 3rd shift).

Responsibilities include troubleshooting plant systems, repairing conveyors and packaging equipment, and using test equipment like multimeters and process simulators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1+ years maintenance experience or 2-year technical degree.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial/technical environments preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair plant systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation
• Repair gear reducers, belt conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment such as starters, PLCs, start/stop stations, motors up to 480V
• Understand measurement and testing devices and mechanical systems
• Demonstrate knowledge of electrical diagrams/circuits during troubleshooting
• Access PLC programs for troubleshooting purposes (not required to program)
