Job summary

MBC Talent Connections is seeking a Maintenance Specialist for the 2nd shift in Frankfort, KY. This role focuses on keeping 75–100 machines operational across multiple equipment types, with emphasis on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, PLC systems, and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

You will diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic equipment, perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, and document activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair methods
• Proficiency with PLC ladder logic and text-based control system programming
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic equipment issues
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance using specialized tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and electronic controls
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints
• Repair and rebuild electronic circuit boards and control panels
• Document all maintenance activities for record-keeping and future reference
• Conduct building electrical, construction, and security equipment maintenance
• Operate forklifts as needed
• Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards
