Alliance Laundry Systems in Ripon, WI is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician 2 for weekend nights. This on-site role runs Friday through Sunday, 4pm to 4am, and offers an hourly rate of $37.28 to $41.56 plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

You will design and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic controls, install and test circuits, interpret blueprints, and perform mechanical repairs as part of a skilled maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate degree and 2–4 years work experience required.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Design minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
• Must have knowledge of electrical power, and water distribution systems.
• Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Must be able to perform the work of the lower-class identifications.
• May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
• Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
• Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
• Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $37.28 to $41.56, commensurate with experience and qualifications

• Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.
