Job summary

BD is seeking a maintenance technician at its USA, NE Columbus location. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and inventory management for medical device production equipment, with opportunities to support engineering projects and PLC-related tasks.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, technical experience preferred, and a background in hydraulic, electric, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. On-site presence is required with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of hydraulic, electric, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; proficient interpretation.
• Basic computer skills with SAP, Excel, Word preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose causes and repair equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory and assist with new equipment IQs.
• Support projects; review PLC programs and changes with Controls.
• Train operators and assist with machine setups and operation.
