Job summary

OBE in Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance Technician focused on electrical and mechanical plant maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery as assigned under the Maintenance Leadership. The ideal electro-mechanic can troubleshoot, inspect, and repair equipment and will be a vital member of the Maintenance Department.

This role supports production with timely repairs, requires flexibility for different shifts and weekends, and emphasizes safety and teamwork as core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical experience.
• PLC experience preferred.
• Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to understand and work from electrical and mechanical prints.

Responsibilities

• Working independently, while maintaining strong communication.
• Working with production to ensure timely repair of equipment is essential.
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including working different shifts and weekends as necessary.
• Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including Critical Safety Rules, are essential functions of your job.
• Provide assistance to all co-workers when needed
