Job summary
Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician in Texas responsible for electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production and support equipment. This role emphasizes electrical/electronics technologies, safety, and professionalism while working under supervision on complex projects.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting drives and PLCs, providing 24/7 production support, and upgrading equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; certification/associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology preferred.
- Minimum four years of industrial maintenance experience including electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with blown film manufacturing and converting equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, and process problems to ensure production capability.
- Provides 24/7 technical support for production.
- Inspects production lines and equipment and performs repairs during maintenance cycles.
- Leads installation, upgrade, and demolition of production equipment as needed.
- Maintains neat workspace and coordinates with contractors for maintenance or project work.
- Reads blueprints and schematics and follows written/verbal instructions.
