Job summary

Amcor is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems on production and support equipment. The role requires safe work practices, integrity, and the ability to work independently on most tasks.

You will lead maintenance activities, coordinate with contractors, and support 24/7 production operations while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Four years minimum work experience in industrial maintenance including troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with blown film manufacturing and converting equipment is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required; certification or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety, quality and attendance policies and reports hazards.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, and process problems to ensure production capability.
• Repairs electronic technologies including drives and PLCs.
• Provides 24/7 technical support for production.
• Conducts maintenance on production lines and support equipment during service cycles.
• Leads installation, upgrades, and demolition of equipment as needed.
