Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will work with production, quality, and maintenance teams to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.

Responsibilities include PMs, repairs, rebuilding machinery, reading schematics, and documenting tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years manufacturing/technical training preferred.
• 1-4 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Capable of lifting up to 35lbs.
• Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Capable of complying with all safety requirements including PPE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Plant Equipment and Facilities including production, quality, scrap, housekeeping and safety results.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, and modify or rebuild machinery as needed.
• Read and interpret schematics and equipment manuals to locate faults.
• Document repairs and maintenance in logs and work orders.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with safety standards.
