Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support manufacturing operations. The role involves diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical equipment, performing detailed setups, and maintaining machinery for optimal uptime.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or related experience, 3-7 years in manufacturing maintenance, and strong knowledge of safety procedures. Proficiency in Word/Excel and the ability to train junior techs are valued.

Qualifications

Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.
3-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
Able to adhere to safety policies and support quality.
Must be available for standby, overtime as required.
Proficient in Word and Excel; able to train Level I/II technicians.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems on manufacturing equipment.
Perform detailed setup on equipment, including recipe changes and control adjustments.
Repair and maintain mechanical components to keep machines in top condition.
Understand electrical principles and motor control circuits and be able to work with programmable drives.
Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and field devices; repair related issues.
Document work in the computerized maintenance system and track parts usage.
