Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a maintenance mechanic to perform scheduled and emergency upkeep on manufacturing equipment and facilities. You will diagnose, repair and install components across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, while coordinating parts and following safety protocols.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years in a maintenance role; lifting up to 50 pounds and forklift operation are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years related maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work near moving parts.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facilities.
• Diagnose root causes and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Conduct routine, predictive and preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Operate man lifts and forklifts; manage parts and inventory coordination.
• Utilize CMMS (Maintenance Connection) for work orders and documentation.
• Respond to on‑call emergencies and participate in plant safety programs.
