Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical, electrical, PLC, and CNC repairs on assigned equipment, following drawings and schematics.

This role also installs new machines, relocates existing ones, and maintains records in CMMS, with a focus on safety and quality. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and 2+ years in industrial maintenance; a 2-year degree or Journeyman license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years in an industrial/manufacturing environment with mechanical/electrical/PLC experience.
• 2-year degree or Journeyman license preferred.
• NEC course within 1 year and renewal as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, CNC and PLC repairs and troubleshooting.
• Install new machines and relocate existing ones.
• Follow drawings, schematics and verbal/written instructions.
• Maintain tools and records in maintenance systems.
• Handle material tasks including fork truck and crane operations.
• Interpret detailed NC schematics and perform plumbing, carpentry, fabrication, and welding as required.
• Drive company vehicle if needed.
• Communicate effectively and maintain records.
