Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

$30 - $36 per hour | Huntington Beach, CA | On-site | Permanent

2nd and 3rd Shifts + Differential

We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality products used throughout the foodservice industry. Our manufacturing operations rely on sophisticated molding, automation, robotics, material-handling and production equipment to deliver consistent quality at scale.

We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician II who can keep that equipment running safely and reliably. This is a hands-on, multi-craft maintenance position for someone who is comfortable troubleshooting both the electrical and mechanical sides of industrial equipment and wants to continue developing their technical skills.

We are hiring for 2 shifts:

• 2nd shift, 3:30pm – 11:30pm
• 3rd shift, 11:00pm – 7:30am

Job Details

What You’ll Need

• Formal electrical training through a technical school, apprenticeship, military technical program, industrial electrical/automation coursework, or similar recognized training.
• 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, or a combination of relevant technical education and experience.
• Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience using meters and diagnostic equipment.
• Hands-on experience with PLC-controlled equipment, including connecting to PLCs, monitoring ladder logic and using PLC diagnostics to troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics and ladder logic.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience performing both preventive maintenance and breakdown/emergency repairs on production equipment.

Preferred

• Experience maintaining injection molding, compression molding, rotational molding, blow molding or other plastics manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with industrial robotics and automated production equipment.
• Familiarity with Haitian, JSW, Husky, Star, Yushin, Ferry, Conair, Una-Dyn or Matsui equipment.
• Welding, machining or fabrication experience.
• CMMS experience.
