Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance as a Technician.
• Technical degree or certification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Extensive knowledge of and experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal operation.
• Implement and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program, including scheduling, documenting, and tracking equipment lifespan.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to understand and mitigate recurring issues and improve machinery performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Train staff on maintenance procedures and potential equipment issues.
• Provide emergency repairs promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Recommend upgrades or replacements for old or inefficient equipment.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and place orders as necessary.

Salary: $31 - $34 per hour
