Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our Paris, IL facility. The role involves diagnosing and repairing electro‑mechanical systems, performing precise equipment setup, and maintaining machine components.

You will troubleshoot electrical control circuits, PLCs, and apply strong safety practices daily. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or equivalent and have 3–7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, with proficiency in Word/Excel and blueprints

Qualifications

Associates degree in related field, or equivalent related experience.
3–7 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Lock‑Out, Tag‑Out procedures.
Willingness to work standby, off-hours and emergency overtime as required.
Proficient in Word and Excel; ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair complex electro‑mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition.
Advanced understanding of electrical principles (voltage, current, resistance).
Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and PLCs.
