Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to support a high-speed beverage production facility in Montgomery, AL. This on-site role requires troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical, controls, and electromechanical systems across the plant.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, reads electrical schematics, and can operate with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance in manufacturing or related fields.
- Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with safety standards, LOTO, and industrial maintenance best practices.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, control circuits, motors, VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation, and automated equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and diagnose failures using electrical diagrams and troubleshooting tools.
- Support production to minimize downtime and maintain packaging and process lines.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, startup, and validation of capital projects.
- Document work orders and asset history in SAP/CMMS; conduct RCA and 5 Whys for reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership on asset performance and safety.
- Participate in daily production meetings and reliability improvement activities.
