Job summary

Dematic Corp. in Union City, GA is seeking a Site Supervisor for our Resident Maintenance team to lead day-to-day maintenance and performance of material handling machinery with guidance from a skilled team.

The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction across the maintenance organization in a fast-paced plant environment. You will supervise technicians, manage workflows, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in maintenance/automation/material handling.
• Broad knowledge of maintenance and supervisory practices.
• Experience directing and mentoring maintenance teams.
• Proven performance-management experience.
• Experience with PLCs and industrial networks.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance skills.
• Lean principles knowledge a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to analyze equipment and team performance data.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and provide direction to all functions within the assigned team.
• Apply professional judgment to evaluate and resolve sophisticated and less-defined operational and technical issues.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve sophisticated problems to ensure reliable equipment performance and continuous operations.
• Establish effective workflows, job responsibilities, and reporting structures to improve the efficiency of the team.
• Participate in the development of departmental budgets and business plans.
• Evaluate current methods and procedures and recommend improvements to improve operational efficiency.
• Communicate recommended process and operational changes to the customer.
• Identify resource requirements and develop appropriate business justifications.
• Diagnose and resolve sophisticated technical and functional challenges to support flawless facility operations.
• Supervise maintenance and operational performance and communicate key findings and recommendations to leadership and the customer.
