Job summary
Dematic Corp. is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician 4 for our Resident Maintenance team in Union City, GA. You will lead advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive/predictive maintenance of conveyor and material handling systems, and mentor junior technicians.
This role requires strong electrical, mechanical, PLC knowledge, and the ability to work night or day shifts. Overtime and weekends may be required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
- 5–7+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/distribution.
- Experience with conveyors, sortation, and material handling equipment.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical docs.
- Proficiency with CMMS for work orders, PM scheduling, inventory, and asset management.
Responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting and maintenance of automated material handling systems.
- Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve uptime.
- Support conveyors, sortation, drives, motors, sensors, and controls.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities with safety as priority.
- Mentor technicians and lead continuous improvement efforts.
