Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Assembler in Marion, KY to build electro-mechanical components for rail signaling and communications equipment. You will follow drawings, BOMs, and standardized work instructions to ensure high-quality assemblies.

The role requires reading schematics, basic soldering, and experience with mechanical assembly; English comprehension is essential for following instructions. Training on soldering and PCB/cable assembly may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read work instructions, schematics, and prints.
• Must understand English to follow verbal instructions.
• Previous experience in mechanical assembly preferred.
• Previous soldering skills may be required; training provided.
• Experience in PCB or cable assembly may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical products and components by following assembly drawings, bills of materials, and standardized work instructions.
• Perform hands-on production tasks, including wire preparation, crimping, soldering, testing, and product verification to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while properly operating and caring for production equipment and tools.
• Support production flow through material handling, inventory replenishment, packaging, shipping, and other manufacturing activities as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by participating in team meetings, problem-solving activities, and process improvement initiatives.
