Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Ability to train other operators in multiple areas within Operations.
  • Must be able to read work instructions, schematics, assembly drawings, and prints.
  • Must be able to understand the English language to understand verbal instructions.
  • Previous experience in Mechanical Assembly preferred.
  • Previous soldering skills may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Apply mechanical aptitude and blueprint-reading skills to assemble, wire, and install components and hardware in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Perform wire termination, crimping, stripping, soldering, and other electrical assembly activities while identifying and resolving BOM and assembly print discrepancies.
  • Ensure product quality, safety, and compliance by following standardized work instructions, maintaining attention to detail, and proactively communicating issues that may impact quality, productivity, or safety.
  • Support a high-performing manufacturing environment by maintaining equipment, adhering to 5S standards, participating in cell meetings, and using visual management tools to monitor production goals and KPIs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with team members, identifying opportunities to eliminate waste, improve processes, and support broader assembly and production requirements.
