Job summary

PTS Advance in Lorain, OH is hiring a Refurbishment & Assembly Technician for a rotating role between refurbishing and packing. You will support daily production goals, work with computers, hand tools, and electronic equipment in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in mechanical or electronics assembly, can read and follow written work instructions, and is comfortable using a computer for programming and label printing.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with mechanical or electronics assembly preferred (1+ year).
• Able to read and follow written work instructions and procedures.
• Comfortable using a computer for programming, scanning and label printing.

Responsibilities

• Rotate daily between refurbishing and packing responsibilities based on production needs.
• Refurbish, inspect, and prepare products for shipment according to established procedures.
• Assemble and rework mechanical and electronic components as required.
• Program firmware, scan serial numbers, and print labels using a computer.
• Use hand tools and electronic test equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Read and follow work instructions, quality procedures, and testing documentation.
• Work closely with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.
