Job summary

AV is seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing facility. You will build and test electro-mechanical sub-assemblies by following engineering drawings and work instructions with precision.

You will use hand and power tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, and solder as part of the assembly process, while collaborating with engineering to maintain high quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
1-2 years manufacturing/production experience in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test.
Ability to solder as part of assembly function.

Responsibilities

Assemble sub-assemblies mechanically using hand/power tools; soldering may be required.
Collaborate with Technicians and Engineering to correct and improve assembly documents.
Work with manufacturing engineers to improve assembly efficiency, product quality, reduce costs and validate released docs.
Ensure work order protocols and paperwork are followed during execution.
May conduct in-process quality checks to ensure items meet high quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
