Position Title: Assembly Associate(Groveport, OH)

Pay: $17.50/hr Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm

Job Purpose: The Assembly Associate supports the distribution and integration operations by assembling hardware components and preparing systems for shipment in accordance with standardized production processes. This position is responsible for ensuring that products are built efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with quality standards to meet customer delivery requirements and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble hardware components and sub-assemblies in accordance with established production procedures and work instructions.
  • Install basic electronic and mechanical parts, including cabling, connectors, brackets, and peripheral components.
  • Perform product preparation tasks such as unpacking, labeling, serial number capture, packaging, and system configuration.
  • Adhere to detailed build instructions, quality standards, and operational procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Utilize hand tools and basic assembly equipment safely and efficiently to complete production assignments.
  • Identify and report assembly issues, damaged components, or process deviations to supervisory personnel promptly.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workstation, ensuring tools and materials are properly handled and stored.
  • Collaborate with team members across assembly and logistics functions to support overall production throughput.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Basic understanding of mechanical or electronic assembly processes.
  • Ability to follow structured build instructions and standard production workflows.
  • Prior experience using basic hand tools and assembly equipment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail when handling, labeling, and packaging product components.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production or distribution environment.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory handling, product identification, and serial tracking.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.
  • Capability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasks as required.
