Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a manufacturing assembler to perform assembly, inspection, packaging and training, with a focus on process improvements and delivering quality results.

This is an hourly, on-site role in a disciplined manufacturing environment. The candidate will learn to operate bench-top equipment, test gear, hand tools and computers; assemble small mechanical parts as well as electro and electro-mechanical products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience using AI tools to boost productivity and quality; evaluate AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, package and train in related activities.
• Learn to use bench top equipment, test equipment, hand tools and computers.
• Assemble small mechanical products – springs, gears, subassemblies.
• Assemble and test electro- and electro-mechanical products.
• Maintain commitment to quality, attendance and productivity; overtime may be required.
• Follow safety, respect for others, integrity and workplace rules.
• Attend additional training (OJT or off-site) for personal development.
