Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an assembler to construct electronic components, printed circuit boards, subassemblies and finished products per schematics and procedures. The role includes operating selected solder machines and automated equipment, while ensuring quality through inspection and testing.

The ideal candidate will read assembly and schematic drawings, work orders, and testing procedures, with the ability to perform overtime as needed to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience in a related Manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret assembly and schematic drawings and work instructions

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, PCBs, subassemblies and finished products using schematics and procedures.
• Operate and maintain select solder machines and automated equipment.
• Inspect and test own work and the work of others.
• Read and interpret assembly, schematic drawings, and work orders.
• Must be able to work overtime to meet schedules.
