Job summary

Aerotek is seeking Assembly Technicians for 2nd shift in Dayton, OH. The role involves precise electro-mechanical assembly in a cleanroom, reading engineering prints, wiring and using a full range of hand and power tools to meet daily production targets.

You will operate at a bench with pre-arranged parts, follow blueprints on a computer, and verify tolerances with precision instruments. The position is contract-to-hire with onsite work in Dayton, OH.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical assembly experience with full electro-mechanical builds in a production or similar environment.
• 3–5 years reading and interpreting assembly drawings and engineering prints.
• 3–5 years using hand and power tools (impact drivers, screwdrivers, Allen wrenches).
• 3–5 years reading metric and standard tape measures accurately.
• 3–5 years using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Experience in cleanroom or controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical products in a cleanroom environment according to daily product types and build quantities.
• Set up and work at a dedicated bench station with pre-arranged parts and tools.
• Interpret engineering prints and drawings on a computer to follow build instructions.
• Perform mechanical assembly with screws, bolts, framing, housings and related hardware.
• Perform electrical assembly by wiring and making precise electrical connections to specs.
