Aerotek in San Diego, CA is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a 2nd shift contract-to-hire role. You will assemble electro-mechanical components, read drawings, and perform soldering, testing, and inspection in a structured production environment.

This hands-on position emphasizes quality, safety, and accurate production records, with overtime and occasional Saturdays. The work is fully onsite at our SAN DIEGO facility, offering practical growth in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical or electronics assembly.
• Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency with hand tools and soldering equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Experience with inspection, testing, and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Read and follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, soldering equipment, volt meters, and basic test instruments.
• Perform soldering, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and rework as needed.
• Ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Follow established manufacturing processes and safety procedures.
