Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Cleanroom Electrical Assembler to build and assemble electrical components in a GMP-focused cleanroom environment in Cincinnati, OH. You will review orders, read schematics, perform precise electrical and mechanical assembly, and ensure products meet strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include interpreting wiring diagrams, soldering and crimping, wiring panels, inspecting assemblies, and documenting work in production logs.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or electronics manufacturing in a production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with soldering, including working with circuit boards and electronic components.
• Proficiency with crimping, wire routing, and panel wiring using appropriate hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise electrical and mechanical assembly work.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles to ensure safe and correct assembly and wiring.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Review daily work orders, assembly drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams before starting each assignment to fully understand build requirements.
• Gather and organize tools, materials, and electrical components needed to complete the day’s production tasks efficiently.
• Assemble electrical parts such as coils, sensors, wire harnesses, transformers, circuit boards, control panels, and control units according to specifications.
• Perform soldering, crimping, wire routing, panel wiring, and mechanical fastening using appropriate hand tools and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate assembly and wiring of components.
• Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, proper wiring, mechanical integrity, and compliance with quality and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with quality inspectors and engineers to resolve assembly issues, clarify requirements, and improve build quality.
• Document completed work accurately in production logs or digital systems to maintain traceability and support production reporting.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to all housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) expectations.
• Follow all environmental, health, safety, and quality guidelines to maintain a compliant, hazard-free, and cleanroom-ready work environment.
• Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and correctly while working independently or as part of a production team.
• Support continuous improvement by following established processes and contributing to a culture of quality and efficiency.
