Job summary

Butler America Aerospace is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler for the San Diego, CA area. This on-site 2nd shift position focuses on repairing, fabricating, and modifying transformers, power supplies, and magnetic assemblies per engineering docs.

You will perform electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, and testing to support depot production. The role requires a HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year of relevant experience, including hand-soldering.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or technical education with relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of production hand-soldering experience.
• Experience with electromechanical drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Repair, fabricate, and modify electrical and mechanical assemblies per engineering docs.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, repair and rework of transformers and power supplies.
• Read and follow detailed instructions, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Use hand tools, test equipment and perform basic QA inspections.
