Butler America Aerospace is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler for the San Diego, CA area. This on-site 2nd shift position focuses on repairing, fabricating, and modifying transformers, power supplies, and magnetic assemblies per engineering docs.
You will perform electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, and testing to support depot production. The role requires a HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year of relevant experience, including hand-soldering.
Electro-Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift
Location: San Diego, CA
Pay Range: $20 - 22 ph (W2)
Duration: 6 mos
Specialize in building and repairing electrical transformers, power supplies, and magnetic assemblies, with capabilities that include coil winding, electrical assembly, soldering, encapsulation, welding/machining, and electrical testing.
The successful candidate will join a small, highly skilled team directly supporting the warfighter mission. This position follows a 9/80 work schedule.
The Electrical Assembly II (Electro-Mechanical Assembler) is responsible for the repair, fabrication, and modification of electrical and mechanical assemblies in accordance with engineering documentation and work instructions.
Perform electro-mechanical assembly, repair, and rework of transformers, power supplies, and magnetic assemblies based on supervisor direction and technical documentation.
