The Toro Company in Bloomington, MN is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to advance electrified, automated, and smart-connected products in our Landscapes and Contractor Engineering Division. You will lead system-level electrification and controls, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across mechanical, electrical, software, and marketing teams to deliver production-ready platforms.

Qualifications

• ABET- accredited degree in Electrical/Mechatronics or related Engineering field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Engineer levels span from Engineer II to IV with 2–8+ years in electromechanical product development.
• Experience taking electromechanical systems from concept through production is required.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level electrical and controls architecture for electro-mechanical machines.
• Select and integrate components to meet performance, durability, safety, and cost targets.
• Design embedded control functionality and support model-based design tools for validation.
