Job summary
Caterpillar is seeking a Senior Associate Engineer in the Integrated Drivetrain Energy Solutions (IDES) division to contribute to next-generation electrified powertrain and energy solutions. You will work with experienced engineers across disciplines to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant integration of electrified systems in Caterpillar products.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Strong analytical thinking with ability to diagnose root causes.

Responsibilities
- Create new designs and resolve manufacturing or build sequence issues; ensure design acceptance and manufacturing readiness.
- Adopt new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, CAD/CAM) to improve efficiency, reduce costs and raise quality.
- Plan and improve engineering procedures to make products more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.
- Collaborate with marketing, purchasing, and manufacturing to deliver designs satisfying customer and dealer requirements.
