Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Electrification Controls System Engineer to contribute to concept, development, and design of complex electronics systems for our electrification product line.
You will perform advanced analyses, identify design problems, and resolve issues across components and subsystems. You will design and integrate electrical control systems, collaborate with battery control teams and electronics software groups, and support verification to ensure customer requirements are
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science curriculum.
- Experience with authoring Software Requirement Specifications.
- Experience with datalinks including J1939 and Ethernet.
- Personal experience in executing software delivery cycle from requirements through validation.
Responsibilities
- Design advanced electrical control systems and integrate electrical and mechanical systems for future Battery management system designs.
- Collaborate with Electrification Battery Control teams to collect requirements and manage system design for electronics.
- Collaborate with Electronics Hardware and software teams to ensure components and software meet system requirements.
- Support verification and validation teams to ensure delivery meets customer requirements.
