Job summary

Freedom Power is hiring an Electrician Helper in Austin, TX. You will learn hands-on wiring, lighting, and electrical installation alongside a licensed electrician while maintaining site safety and organization.

Ideal candidates have an Apprentice Electrician License and OSHA 10; NABCEP is a plus, and prior solar installation experience is strongly preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Electrician License is required.
• OSHA 10 certification is required.
• NABCEP Installer certificate or working knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist with wiring, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, and racking.
• Follow safety codes and guidelines on installations and servicing of electrical equipment.
• Keep the job site organized and safe; ensure tools and materials are on-site.
• Assist with preparing and cleaning the work site before and after projects.
• Transport tools and materials to electricians as needed.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Electrician.
