Job summary

Freedom Power in Austin, TX is seeking an Electrician Helper for hands-on training and a clear path to becoming a licensed electrician. You’ll work under a Licensed Electrician, learning wiring, breakers, lighting, racking, and module installation on real solar projects.

Ideal candidates bring an Apprentice Electrician license and OSHA 10, with solar installation experience considered a strong plus. This full-time, on-site role offers paid training and growing responsibility as you gain

Qualifications

• Apprentice Electrician License required.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• NABCEP Installer certificate is a plus but not required.
• Previous solar installation experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist a Licensed Wireman, Journeyman, or Master Electrician on projects.
• Follow safety codes and guidelines while installing and servicing electrical equipment.
• Keep tools and materials organized and on-site.
• Transport tools and materials to the electrician as needed.
• Help prepare and clean the work site before each project.
• Maintain a clean work area after projects.
