SALARY RANGE: $19.20 Minimum – $27.35 Maximum

PAY GRADE: AU5

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Electrician is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all electrical systems in the district.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Graduate or GED required
  • At least three years’ experience in electrical field
  • Journeyman’s License
  • Able to read blueprints and schematics
  • Dependable and cooperative
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Performs electrical work in the district that requires a licensed electrician
  • Maintains the time keeping clock, bell systems and public address systems
  • Make repairs and new installations that are acceptable to the building code and/or local city ordinance
  • Responsible for successfully completing all work orders and submit to office staff in a timely manner
  • Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
