Primary Purpose

The Apprentice Plumber assists the supervisor in the maintenance and operations of all plumbing systems in the district.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required
• 1+ years of plumbing experience preferred; Apprentice license preferred
• Able to read blueprints and schematics
• Dependable and cooperative
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable

Major Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining all plumbing systems under a plumber
• Assist with services needed for plumbing such as repairing water leaks, replacing pipes, equipment, fixtures, and irrigation systems
• Perform all duties safely to avoid injury to self or others
• Perform other related duties as assigned
