Job summary

SPECTRAFORCE in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an experienced EE Validation Engineer to support hardware validation of next-generation smart glasses, working closely with the validation lead.

You will monitor validation progress, review CM test reports, analyze failures, and coordinate with EE design partners to drive issues to closure, while guiding CM engineers on measurement procedures and performing hands‑on PI/SI debugging as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of EE hardware validation experience with strong emphasis on power integrity and signal integrity.
• Ability to develop test procedures with clear technical writing and structured SOPs; strong schematic reading to map circuits from schematics/datasheets.
• PCB layout review experience; assess probe access and SI/PI risk; use lab instruments (oscilloscopes, probes, spectrum analyzers) for debugging.

Responsibilities

• Monitor validation progress and review CM test reports.
• Analyze failures and coordinate with EE design partners to drive issues to closure.
• Guide CM engineers on measurement procedures and perform hands-on PI/SI debug when needed.
• Interpret data, track issues, and ensure problems are resolved efficiently under the lead's direction.
• Flag risks and recommend actions to keep execution on track.
