Job description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Validation Engineer to support the hardware validation of next-generation smart glasses. In this role, you will work closely with the Validation Lead to monitor validation progress, review Contract Manufacturer (CM) test reports, analyze failures, and coordinate with electrical design teams to drive issues to resolution.

Your primary responsibility will be overseeing validation execution, interpreting test data, tracking issues, and ensuring timely closure of validation activities. While strong hands-on debugging skills are required, most of your time will be focused on data analysis, issue management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years of hardware validation experience.
• Strong experience with Power Integrity (PI) and Signal Integrity (SI).
• Experience reviewing validation reports and driving issue resolution.
• Ability to analyze test data and perform root cause analysis.
• Experience creating technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Strong schematic reading and PCB layout review skills.
• Expertise using advanced electronic test equipment.
• Experience with DC-DC converter validation and high-speed digital interfaces.
• Knowledge of transmission line theory and impedance matching.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) or Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs).
• Experience with wearables, AR/VR, consumer electronics, IoT, or mobile hardware.
• RF measurement experience, including BLE, Wi-Fi, and antenna validation.
• Experience supporting EVT, DVT, PVT, and NPI hardware development cycles.
• Familiarity with issue tracking systems and hardware program management.
