Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies in Pleasanton, CA seeks an Electrical Test Engineer for a 12-month on-site assignment. You will perform electronics design and EMC pre-test activities and verify design against specifications, ensuring compliance with medical device standards.

You will support lab setup, develop verification protocols and documentation, and collaborate with project teams to address hazards, design changes, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in regulated industry testing complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of standards: ISO 9000, ISO 13485, IEC 60601, IEC 62304, EN 300 328, EN 300 330, ISO 14971.
• Hands-on with design verification protocols and lab equipment.
• Onsite work in Pleasanton, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electronics Design and EMC pre-test activities for complex electro-mechanical medical device products.
• Identify electrical tests and prepare test environment to ensure preconditions are met.
• Verify analog and digital design against specifications and ensure standards compliance.
• Verify EMC/EMI/ESD and radio standards compliance for safety and regulatory codes.
• Build and support the Electrical Test Lab and follow safety protocols.
• Develop verification protocols, reports, and requirements documents.
