Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a field service professional to install, test, program, and maintain protective relaying and metering systems for transmission and distribution operations. The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and diagnostics across industrial environments.

Responsibilities include testing, commissioning, and calibration of relays, circuit breakers, and switchgear, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians and collaborate with engineers and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant electrical experience OR associate's degree and 4+ years of relevant electrical experience OR Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant electrical experience.
• Must possess valid/active U.S. Work Authorization.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%–50% of the time.
• NETA / NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain protective relaying and metering. Analyze test results and interpret diagrams.
• Coordinate testing, troubleshooting and repairs with other departments.
• Perform acceptance and maintenance testing of electrical power systems per NETA standards.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior technicians.
