U.S. Electrical Testing, LLC in Atlanta, GA seeks a skilled technician to install, program, test, and maintain protective relaying and metering systems across transmission and distribution assets.

You will diagnose issues, interpret schematics, and coordinate repairs in industrial and utility environments. Responsibilities include commissioning new installations, testing relays, breakers, and meters, and producing detailed test reports.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant electrical experience OR associate’s degree and 2+ years of relevant electrical experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of relevant electrical experience
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% - 50% of the time
• NETA / NICET certification (preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical testing
• Strong understanding of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards

Responsabilités

• Program, install, test, and maintain protective relaying and metering systems.
• Analyze test results and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Use test equipment in energized rooms, vaults, and substations to install, maintain, repair and program relays.
• Review and correct schematics, wiring diagrams, and substation drawings.
• Commission new relay and metering installations.
• Coordinate testing and repairs with other departments.
• Maintain test reports and documentation for compliance and client review.
• Participate in emergency call outs.
