Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing, LLC seeks an experienced electrical tester/technician to install, maintain and program protective relays and metering equipment. You will read schematics, operate testing tools such as Doble, Omicron, Megger and Fluke meters, and coordinate field troubleshooting across industrial sites.

The role requires 8+ years of experience (or 5+ with an associate’s degree), travel up to 50%, and a valid U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years electrical experience or 5+ years with associate’s degree.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25–50%.
• Possess a valid/active U.S. Work Authorization.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands‑on testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and program protective relays and wiring in energized spaces.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and substation drawings.
• Operate test equipment and follow safe work practices per handbook.
• Commission new relay and metering installations and coordinate testing.
• Maintain test reports and collaborate with engineers, project managers and clients.
