Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing seeks an experienced technician to lead and perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and startup of low and medium voltage electrical equipment in field and shop settings.

The role requires travel (local, regional, national; international preferred) and a strong understanding of ANSI/IEEE/NETA standards, with certification preferred. You will document results and mentor junior technicians while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Possess a valid/active U.S. Work Authorization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house, reviewing and maintaining job documentation from receipt to invoice.
• Perform testing of low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, and related equipment.
• Contain material costs by eliminating wasteful practices and implementing proper controls.
• Rotate emergency on-call duties and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
• Promote an attitude of continuous improvement and teamwork.
