Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks an experienced electrical field service technician to lead inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and startup of low and medium voltage equipment both in the field and in a shop setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of electrical experience, understands ANSI/IEEE/NETA/NEC/OSHA standards, and can travel regionally with preference for those with NETA/NICET credentials. Equipment includes breakers, transformers, switchgear, relays, and MCCs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Strong knowledge of protective relays, switchgear, transformers, and breakers.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and startup of LV/MV equipment.
• Coordinate projects onsite and in-house and maintain documentation from order to invoice.
• Travel regionally; international travel preferred.
